| Uganda: popular newspaper launches English version |
The Uganda-based New Vision Printing and Publishing Company has announced plans to begin publishing an English version of Bukkede, a newspaper that is currently printed in Luganda, a language spoken by 25 per cent of Ugandas population.

| Côte dIvoire: Reconciliation begins at the heart of the company |
Journalists belonging to the Cote dIvoires national union, Syninfo, participated in a round-table to reflect on relations between members of the union during the current political crisis in the country. The seminar, which took place from 14 to 16 April, carried the theme Trade Unionism and internal communication in companies during a period of national reconciliation.
