Writing Business News

This course is designed to help business journalists develop their skills in news collection and presentation. The programme provides intensive, practical exercises built around simulated economic news scenarios. It also focuses on improving participants’ understanding of national and international financial markets through the use of detailed briefings, external presentations and visits to financial institutions.

The Reuters Foundation pays for the course, provides the training materials and covers travel and accommodation costs. Applicants must have at least two years’ professional experience.

The course takes place between May 5 and 23 in London, UK.
