Journalists and youth who are attending the upcoming Pan-African Festival and Emancipation Day celebration can participate in a dialogue forum on 31 July organized by the Ghana Media Advocacy Programme and the Global Youth Action Network-Ghana under the theme "Engaging the people of African descent and the African Youth on the African Union agenda."
The annual festival, which this year begins 26 July and runs through 3 August, takes place in Trinidad and Tobago and is a commemoration of the end of chattel slavery on 1 August 1838.
