International Policy Network taking entries for Bastiat Prize for Journalism

Bastiat Prize for Journalism: The International Policy Network (IPN) has announced it is taking entries for its annual Bastiat Prize for Journalism. The prize is open to writers anywhere in the world whose published articles eloquently and wittily explain, promote and defend the principles and institutions of the free society. The first prize is $10,000, second prize is $4,000 and third prize, $1,000. The deadline for entries is 30 June 2009. There will also be one award for online journalism, with a prize of $3,000.
