Ghana Conference to Discuss Democracy, Development, Communications

Journalists, academics and researchers are invited to attend a conference on communications education, democracy, and development in Legon, Ghana from 11 to 13 August.

Entitled “Communication Education and Practice in Africa - A Social Contract for the 21st Century?” the conference is organized by the African Council on Communication Education (ACCE).

This year’s conference will convene media experts, academics, and researchers to discuss communications education in Africa and its practice in promoting development and democracy. In addition, the conference will address themes relating to new media, globalization and health.
