As South Africa prepares to host the FIFA World Cup from 14 to 28 June, 2010, the Institute for the Advancement of Journalism (IAJ) is offering a three-day course on how the media can effectively cover the event.
The course will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, from 25 to 27 May. During the three days, participants will learn what readers want in a FIFA World Cup story, their organizations’ relevance to the events, and how to develop messages for use as sound bites. The three-day course will cost R4500 (US$495).
