Swedish Institute invites journalists to seminars on ’Journalism and Democracy’

The Sweden-based Institute for Further Education of Journalists (Fojo) invites journalists from selected countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America to apply for two free seminars on journalism and democracy. The deadline is 5 March.

The seminars are open to journalists who are interested in learning more about the role of journalism in democratic societies around the world.

The seminars will be held at Fojo’s headquarters at Kalmar University in Kalmar, Sweden. The first seminar will take place from 25 May to 12 June, and the second from 1 to 25 September.
