Media Scholarships Available for South African College Graduates

South African college graduates and experienced media professionals with degrees in journalism or mass communication can apply for a scholarship to a one-year media management degree programme. The deadline to apply is 18 October.

Selected participants will attend the Sol Plaatje Institute for Media Leadership’s (SPI) Postgraduate Diploma in Media Management (PDMM) for 2009.

The scholarships cover full accommodation, which includes tuition fees, medical insurance, books and supplies, as well as small subsistence allowances.

PDMM is a full-time program that will provide students working in the media field with essential skills and knowledge needed to perform well in their organizations. The program also will help students gain tools necessary for working in management positions.
