Gambian Journalists Launch Online Radio Station

Gambian journalists have started an independent, online radio station whose programming is produced in Senegal.

According to a news release, the aim of Radio Alternative Voice is to report on human rights issues and promote dialogue. Some of the station’s programmes can be heard at www.radioavg.com
