Training coordinator
The Southern African Media Training Trust (NSJ), based in Maputo, Mozambique, seeks a motivated individual to fill the position of training coordinator. Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of project schedules, helping in the design of projects and in seeking funding for them, drawing budgets and programmes for projects, liaising with consultants, project resource people and media and other institutions, assisting with the practical implementation of training courses, and supervising the logistics of projects, including regular travel to provide logistics on projects.
Successful applicants will have a degree in media studies or journalism from a recognised university, practical journalism experience and media training exposure. Excellent English language skills are necessary and proficiency in Portuguese is desirable.

Marketing coordinator NSJ is seeking a marketing coordinator to assist the Executive Director in fundraising and project development activities, including project proposal formulation and drafting. The marketing coordinator will also be responsible for the implementation and continuous revision of the NSJs marketing plan.
A successful candidate will have a degree in business, social sciences or media studies from a recognised university, and a good understanding of the media, preferably with prior fundraising experience at a senior level. Excellent English language skills are necessary and proficiency in Portuguese is desirable.
