Advanced Journalism Training Course

This month-long course is designed to prepare reporters from all over the world for greater responsibility in the newsroom. Candidates should be over 21 years of age with a minimum of two years’ continuous employment at a newspaper, news agency or magazine, and should speak and read English. It will be carried out at the Thomson Foundation’s Editorial Study Centre in Cardiff, Wales, UK. The cost for the course is 4,000. The Thomson foundation does not provide funding for the course, but applicants are recommended to contact the British Council or British Embassy in their home countries to request assistance to cover course fees and airfares to and from the host country.
